The party starts with a Fried Shrimp Dinner Party and free live music on Friday night and continues into the weekend with more music, more shrimp, and a 5K for those who might need to run off the extra calories they have consumed over the course of this tasty festival! At 3PM on Saturday, the Galveston Shrimp Company’s Lil Shrimps parade is an event that can’t be missed; kids from 2 to 92 will love catching beads and watching the floats roll down the parade route. Try to restrain yourself from moving to the beat of the marching bands performing for your pleasure—we dare you! Sunday fun day brings more shrimp, music, and adds some children’s activities to guarantee your kids will want to come back for this Galveston shrimp festival next year!
