Directions and Reminders

Signs showing you two different ways that you can go to reach our Galveston beach condos.

PLEASE NOTE THAT TRAFFIC COMING TO THE ISLAND CAN BE HEAVIER THAN YOU ARE USE TO (ESPECIALLY THE LATER YOU LEAVE), SO ALLOW AMPLE TIME TO GET HERE OR COME EARLY TO START YOUR  VACATION AS THERE’S PLENTY TO DO WHILE YOU WAIT-RELAX AT THE BEACH, TAKE A STROLL ON THE SEA WALL, VISIT A LOCAL ATTRACTION, DO SOME SHOPPING, OR GRAB A BITE TO EAT AND DRINK.

ARRIVALS

CHECK-IN at our office is from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm Monday to Saturday unless otherwise agreed to in writing and by appointment on Sunday and Holidays. Diamond Beach guests will check-in directly at the resort (10327 San Luis Pass) at the Concierge Desk on the second floor same dates and times as above.

Please don’t pressure our staff to allow you to go to your property before 4:00 p.m.  There’s plenty to do while you wait – enjoy our beaches, take a walk on the seawall or visit a local attraction, or enjoy the resort facility if you have reserved a condo.  Sometimes, it may be necessary to delay check-in beyond 4:00 p.m., but that is extremely rare.  We ask that you call our office well in advance to arrange an after hours check-in, late check-ins are by appointment only and will be accessed a minimum late fee of $50.

ONLY THE GUEST ON THE RENTAL AGREEMENT CAN CHECK-IN AND RECEIVE KEYS. DRIVERS LICENSE AND CREDIT CARD USED FOR THE PAYMENT MUST BE PRESENTED AT TIME OF CHECK-IN. A Security Deposit if required is due at time of check-in and is payable in the form of a traveler’s check, money order, cashier’s check or debit card with pin number.


MAKE SURE TO BRING 

All of your consumable item such as paper products, condiments, coffee/filters, toiletries, sun tan lotion, trash bags, mosquito repellent, cleaning products for dishes, laundry, etc. We will provide a roll of paper towels for the kitchen and toilet tissue for each bath to get you started. Bring Your Beach Towels as Bath Towels are not permitted outside the property.


RESORTS AND POOLS

POINTE WEST BEACH CLUB
 WILL COLLECT A RESORT FEE IN HIGH SEASON OF $10 PER PERSON ( 4 YEARS AND UP) AND ISSUE WRIST BANDS WITH GATE CODE  FOR STERLING REALTORS REGISTERED GUESTS ONLY.

DIAMOND BEACH RESORT WILL ISSUE DAILY WRIST BANDS AT NO CHARGE FOR STERLING REALTORS REGISTERED GUESTS ONLY. ON-SITE PARKING FOR 2 VEHICLES ONLY, OFF-SITE PAID PARKING AVAILABLE.
SEA ISLE POOL PASS MAY BE PURCHASED DIRECTLY FROM THE SEA ISLE HOA MANAGER FOR $50 PRIOR TO ARRIVAL.


GROCERY STORES

Randall’s at 2931 Central City Blvd and 61st Street, Kroger @ 5875 Seawall Blvd. just east of 61st Street, a Wal-Mart @ 6702 Seawall Blvd. just west of 61st, Wal-Mart 6702 Seawall Blvd @ and our favorite neighborhood grocery store Seven Seas with the best meat market just pass Jamaica Beach.


DIRECTIONS TO OUR OFFICE

Take I-45 South to Galveston from Houston, turn right on 61st Street. Turn Right where it dead ends at the beach onto Seawall Blvd (also known as FM 3005 and San Luis Pass Road), once off the Seawall, you will go through Pirates Beach (lighted intersection) and then Jamaica Beach (lighted intersection). SPEED LIMIT 35mph! When you get to the second set of yellow flashing lights, this is the entrance of Sea Isle. We are on the right hand side a 2-story white building on the corner of San Jacinto Drive and FM 3005. Our office is approximately 20 minutes from 61st street.

Take 288 South (Nolan Ryan Expressway) to Galveston from Houston (you can pick up from downtown or off the Sam Houston toll road) via Lake Jackson. Continue south onto 332 until it dead end’s into Bluewater Highway at Surfside. Go left or east along the coast, (Hungry? We recommend The Red Snapper Inn on the right just pass Surfside) cross the San Luis Pass Toll Bridge ($2). You will pass the Pointe West Resort and continue to our office just a few minutes on the left at the yellow blinking light (corner of San Jacinto and FM3005).
