Also, we are in Texas, and steak is practically the state meal, so there we HAD to introduce at least one gourmet steakhouse! If the mahogany walls, leather seating, and unique glass chandeliers don’t reel you in, the smell of good meat being cooked the right way will certainly tempt even the most jaded of diners. Be sure and order a glass of wine as you peruse the menu; the wine list is both extensive and award winning. The wait staff in this fine establishment have the unique talent of always being on the spot when needed while somehow never intruding. Not many restaurants can promise that, which is why The Steakhouse consistently wins awards not just for its food, but for its service as well!
The Menu
First and foremost, we must recommend the steak, of course! Perfectly prepared and always juicy, if you never eat another steak after leaving The Steakhouse, you won’t care—you’ve had the best!
Start off with an appetizer; we haven’t had a bad one yet, but our favorite is the Shrimp and Crab Cheesecake made with a mascarpone custard and basil pesto sauce.
Moving to the main course, if steak isn’t your thing, the Charbroiled Scottish Salmon Fillet is never a wrong choice. Served with sautéed kale, quinoa, grilled asparagus, and a cherry tomato vinaigrette, this is a meal you may dream about long after you have returned home.
Our favorite side dish, the Lobster Mac & Cheese, is good enough to be the entire meal and taken home in a box to be enjoyed in the middle of the night!
Finally, be sure to save room for dessert. The Chocolate Eruption needs no explanation; you would be crazy not to try it! Two spoons, a cup of coffee, and your partner—this restaurant meal has just become an epicurean adventure!
