The Krewe of Barkus and Meaoux is a great organization that puts on this parade every year. The parade begins at 1:30 and will benefit the Galveston Island Humane Society. Guests can see a variety of different pets stroll through in the parade, most fantastically dressed to fit the day. This year’s theme is Paw-jama Party and will honor Shelby Scott and her winning “pet of the year,” Travis.
