East Beach is the host of a myriad of different events throughout the year. One of their most famous events happens the first weekend in June, where the park hosts the annual American Institute of Architects Sandcastle Competition. Thousands of people flock to the beach and compete in one of the largest sandcastle competitions in the world. This event is a truly unique experience that will make a lifelong memory. Rules and Admission

East Beach does require admission to enjoy this pristine beach. The admission varies from season to season, but in the prime summer months it is $12 Monday through Friday and $15 on the weekend for the entire vehicle. Special events and holidays are billed at the weekend amount. This price is relatively low for all the great attractions that this beach offers.

Some of the important amenities include: a covered pavilion, children’s playground, entertainment stage, boardwalk, lifeguards on duty, bird sanctuary, food and drink options, and much more. East Beach attempts to offer anything you could want or need during your beach vacation.

The beach does have some rules that visitors should be aware of. For instance, no glass is allowed on the beach, pets are welcome if they are leashed, and overnight camping is prohibited.
